On a slightly similar but different note, I'm working on upgrading a massive codebase from Java 1.3 to Java 1.5. Painful. Very painful.

That sounds horrible. Maybe it'll help ease your pain to know that I spend my days writing vb5 mainly with a toolkit from a vendor that hasn't existed in 5 years on a piece of code contained in one 10000 line file?

(It's changing, but slowly. This week I'll introduce my new concept - a database module!)
