Signs you're a crappy programmer (and don't know it) (Damien Katz)

On a slightly similar but different note, I'm working on upgrading a massive codebase from Java 1.3 to Java 1.5. Painful. Very painful.

That sounds horrible. Maybe it'll help ease your pain to know that I spend my days writing vb5 mainly with a toolkit from a vendor that hasn't existed in 5 years on a piece of code contained in one 10000 line file?

(It's changing, but slowly. This week I'll introduce my new concept - a database module!)

Note: New comments get placed in a "draft" status and will NOT show up on the site until I explicitly approve it. Usually that happens within 24 hours, but sometimes I go away and it takes a day or two.

Note 2: There is now a preview button for those of you who want to see a preview! However, it doesn't quite work the way you'd think it should work. I'll look into adjusting it some day.
