PuTTYcyg

Mark Edgar's PuTTYcyg patch is awesome. I've always had difficulties with the Cygwin console and using PuTTYcyg makes me a happy man. Definitely worth looking at if the Cygwin console issues (resize issues, fonts, copy/paste issues, ...) make life irritating.

Can you run a python interpreter in it? It doesn't work for me, it seems to be due to the issue linked at the bottom of the puttycyg page.

Running the Python interpreter that comes with cygwin works fine.  But running the Python interpreter that doesn't come with cygwin doesn't work at all--it hangs or something.

So PuTTYcyg might not be awesome for everyone, but it sure is super for me!
