FIXME - these are non-comprehensive notes of what should be written

Safety

  • pictures of youth should not go on the web * pictures of youth shouldn’t be posted online without permission

    from their guardian

    • drop the resolution so that youth are unidentifyable blobs
    • block youth’s faces out in any images
    • make sure other adults and youth who are taking pictures of children know the policy (pictures cannot be posted online)
  • adults and youth shouldn’t be friending each other on social networks

  • don’t post confidential or private information about anyone without their consent

Security

  • When using social media make sure you’re using the latest version for the browser you’re using.
  • When your browser asks you to update, do it as soon as you can.
  • Make sure you use secure passwords on all sites you use.
