Seven Pillars of Wisdom

Note: This is an old post in a blog with a lot of posts over a long span of time. The world has changed, technologies have changed, and I've changed. It's likely this is out of date, the code doesn't work, the ideas haven't aged well, or the ideas were terrible to begin with. Let me know if you think this is something that needs updating.

I really loved reading this book. Between the sullen commentary of the Arab revolution from the perspective of TE Lawrence to the wonderful descriptions of the other characters involved it is at once a fascinating piece that talks about the Middle East and the cultures that exist there and also a journey by a single man putting forth all his efforts for a cause he doesn't quite believe in.

Anyhow, it's phenomenal. Definitely worth reading.
